Camp Kootaga, a part of the George A. Stevenson Scout Reservation, lies alongthe Hughes River in Wirt County, West Virginia. Only 15 miles East of I-77from Parkersburg, WV on State Route 47. The reservation encompasses over 634acres of hilly woodland which makes it a natural environment for the outdooractivities of Scouting.The camp has a full service dining hall, 16 campsites, a trading post, 3 cabins,swimming pool with bath house, a COPE course and rappelling wall. Each campsite has running water, a latrine and permanent shelter. Full time ranger andScouter, Scott Clay, maintains the camp year round.
